What You'll Receive:
Nice to meet you!
My name is Lucy and I am a hospital-based midwife, holistic health coach, and mother of two.
I started Mad River Birth and Wellness when I realized how many people were needing and wanting more than what they were receiving in their routine obstetric care.
I offer virtual 1:1 coaching sessions for preconception, pregnancy, birth preparation, and postpartum. Woven into all of my virtual sessions and online education is a balanced background as both a medical and holistic practitioner. As a Yale-trained, hospital-based midwife for over a decade and a clinical instructor for resident physicians, I am well-versed in modern obstetrics. I integrate my medical background with a passion for holistic care and root-cause functional medicine. My philosophy of care is one of balance.
I cannot imagine ever giving up in-person care or attending births, but I LOVE coaching, providing education, and connecting with people just like YOU!
If you are wanting more personalized support for your postpartum recovery, I would love to work with you!
